Vepronia Abd El Malek is a dedicated Physiotherapist. Practicing at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in Ottawa, ON, Vera Malek is committed to high-quality, patient-centered care aligning with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards. Vera Malek’s role involves addressing a wide range of muscle, joint, bone, tendon, and ligament conditions. This includes everything from acute injuries like sprains and strains, to chronic pain management, arthritis care, and comprehensive post-operative rehabilitation. Vera Malek serves infants, children, and adolescents.
Vepronia Abd El Malek completed their degree in Physiotherapy from University of Ottawa (Graduating Class of 2023). With clinical experience, Vera Malek is committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based physiotherapy practices. Vera Malek has a particular interest or further training in areas such as Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
Vera Malek’s practice philosophy centers on empowering patients through clear education about their condition and practical self-management strategies for lasting results; a collaborative approach, working with patients to achieve their movement and functional goals. Vera Malek offers consultations in English, French.

Dr. Karim Guirguis
Chiropractic Doctor
Originally intending to become an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Guirguis discovered his passion for rehabilitative and preventative healthcare early in his studies. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa in 1994 and his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in 1999.
He began his career at Sojourns Community Health Clinic in Vermont, gaining invaluable experience in a collaborative healthcare setting with medical doctors, physiotherapists, naturopaths, and psychotherapists. After relocating to Ottawa, he co-founded Sunrise Wellness Centre and now leads his own practice at Inline Health and Sports Injury Clinic.
Dr. Guirguis treats patients of all ages—from children to seniors—and utilizes both manual and non-manual adjustment techniques, ensuring safe, comfortable, and effective treatments for every individual. His practice incorporates principles of Applied Kinesiology, Chinese Medicine, Nutrition, and Cranial-Sacral Therapy for a truly integrative approach to care.
Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, Dr. Guirguis brings a caring and culturally aware approach to every patient interaction. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys soccer, tennis, skiing, and spending time with his wife, two children, and their family dog.
